Jennings Mazda has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of a new sales executive.
Neil Mileham, 41, from Seaham, has joined the Riverside Road dealership, just off Wessington Way in Sunderland, as sales executive.
Working as part of a five-strong sales team, Neil will be responsible for selling new and used cars to customers across Wearside, in addition to contributing towards monthly sales objectives set out by Mazda, liaising with existing and potential customers, processing orders and ensuring customers receive the highest level of customer service at all times.
Prior to joining Jennings Mazda in Sunderland, Neil spent 3 ½ years working in a similar role for other motor dealerships in the area and prior to that, worked as a publican and also managed a bar in Sunderland for Vaux Breweries.
Neil said: “I was keen to move on and broaden my experience and knowledge. I am very much a people person and particularly enjoy meeting different people from different backgrounds, so I knew I wanted to stay in the motor industry.
Neil submitted his cv to franchise manager of Jennings Mazda, Chris Nixon, who asked if he would attend an interview at the dealership.
