A member of staff at Jennings Mazda has added another string to his bow, after taking on an additional role at the Cargo Fleet Lane branch in Middlesbrough.
25-year-old, Shaun Jones, from Hartlepool, is the latest recruit to join the sales team at the dealership and after successfully completing relevant training through Mazda, he has taken on the additional role of Motability specialist which will see him being responsible for the dealership’s 100 plus Motability customers.
The Motability Scheme offers disabled people who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) a brand new car every three years.
Mazda Motors UK has been a partner to the Motability Car Scheme since 2002.
Customers who are eligible to purchase a car through the Motability programme can take advantage of the Mazda2, 3, 5, 6, MX-5 and CX-7, which are all available to test drive at Jennings Mazda in Middlesbrough.
In addition to a wide range of models being available, customers can also take advantage of nil advance payments which are currently available on the Mazda2 and Mazda3 models, or the Mazda5 is available with an advance payment of £395.
Shaun Jones, said; “I am delighted to take on the additional role and look forward to providing a service to our Motability customers.”
He added; “Opting to purchase a vehicle through the Motability programme gives customers a peace of mind car lease package with many added benefits available including insurance, servicing and maintenance, full RAC breakdown cover, annual car tax, replacement tyres, windscreen replacement, vehicle adaptations and a 60,000 mileage allowance over a 3 year lease.”
A lot of Motability customers also think they need to be able to drive, but that’s not the case, the programme enables the customer to nominate up to two drivers as part of the leasing agreement.
Motability customers can also take advantage of three different payment plans, including contract hire and purchase hire for new cars and a hire purchase scheme for used vehicles.

Customers who need specific adaptations carried out to a vehicle can also take advantage of this service, which is available at Jennings Mazda, in addition to a home visit service, available to those who are unable to get to the dealership.
